FINAL PROJECT

For this final project, I rolled my dies to choice the ingredients that I am going to be working with.

From the dies, I am working with Video, Painting, Play. However, I decided to change Play to Body; I never tried to print with digital media for human beings. For this time, I wanted to challenge myself because I recently feel in interested in different culture cartoonish looking characters – especially in Chinese and Japanese looking character, I wonder if I can also create a cartoon looking character. However, I do still wish it can do look more realistic instead of being cartoon. So I commit to do a self-portrait with digital app (Procreate) and I screen recorded the process along the way. I wish myself portrait is a start that can build my self-esteem in drawing digital character and lead me into new media (technology) drawing.

Regarding to education perspective, I wish my students and myself can continuously explore self-identity and personal interest.

In my words, “Everything you do in trying new things that you are interest, is a way of self prove and realizing identity.”
