Week 5 – 3D Modeling

Storytelling Through 3D

For this module, I decided to use Tinkercad to record my memories; the penguin that I have seem during young ages and have missed them during my trip to Alaska back in March recently. This project is the first time that I try to create a 3D creature that represent my memory. During the process, I felt a little bit difficult in placing the features in the right spatial plane.

From this creation, it promote myself to think about her to further increase students’ spatial judgement and experiences in the art classroom. It also make me wonder that: How can I best use traditional media to enhance students spatial idea and understanding? What happen if create X, y, z spatial plan on the page, am I able to also show the space? I think the answer is yes.
